iMIS Projects:

One of Wellington's largest member organisations chose iMIS over several other contenders and in April of this year has gone "live". This project requires extensive data migration from their legacy membership system and used a business team for reconciliation and data acceptance. Several extended business walk-throughs of their business-critical processes were required before acceptance of the iMIS customisations.

On-line Member Training Courses

This national organisation has strict member competency requirements. To support these, their iMIS website now offers pay-as-you-go on-line training. To achieve this required extensive ColdFusion development to link both with their eCommerce platform and iMIS database. Now they enjoy increased revenue, real-time training updates, and most importantly, enhanced member satisfaction.

Non-iMIS Projects:

This commercial internet hosting company required a suite of generic website templates suitable for commercial resale. While the design was straight-forward, the technology options weren't. HTML/CSS, FLASH, DHTML were all considered before Karapoti Consulting produced a suite of eminently presentable and usable templates using hybrid Flash/CSS/HTML.

Development of an interactive website for a not-for-profit organisation

This organisation recognised the role of technology in enhancing their service to their 3000+ Members. Karapoti Consulting was commissioned to develop an interactive website allowing Members to maintain their details, book events and manage their subscriptions on-line. Using coldfusion and pre-developed templates the site went on-line in four months. Further time was invested tidying up their membership database, staff training and operational documentation as well as reviewing and upgrading their technology infrastructure.

Establishment of country-wide IT Infrastructure and Services

The customer was a mid-size financial institution and required a complete new country-wide IT infrastructure. Karapoti Consulting was commissioned to drive this project through to completion in a tight timeline and with no interruption to day-to-day business. Thanks to a good project team this was achieved in record time to everyone's satisfaction.

Video Conferencing over the Internet

This organisation required both national and international high-quality VC capabilities. After piloting the options the decision was made to implement top-rate Polycom equipment communicating over the internet using IP rather than using ISDN through telco services - a leading-edge decision in NZ at the time. The project was very successful and earnt press interest due to the new technologies used.

Implemented nation-wide VOIP phone system for a mid-size Wellington-based Business

With the infrastructure already in place and the need recognised for unified communications, the Board of Directors were quick to approve the proposal put to them. Avaya kit was selected and a single unified telephony solution piggy-backing off the data network was implemented between all the branches. Cost savings of over $3,000 per month were realised.
